Short background of experience:


Starting lessons in jazz saxophone at the age of nine I have featured in various regional bands such as the Aberdeenshire Saxophone Orchestra and the Aberdeen Jazz Orchestra and have featured in both the Aberdeen and Inverurie Jazz Festivals on many occasions - as well as playing concerts in the Music Hall and the Blue Lamp. On a higher level I have completed my Advanced Diploma in Jazz at St Andrews University this year; I play in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland’s Access band and attend NYJOS summer schools annually.  In 2013 I began my solo career and regularly play at weddings/functions or parties. I will be going to Aberdeen College in September to continue my education and studies in music.

I hope to bring both the diners and visitors of the Carmelite a relaxed atmosphere, with an ambient vibe and a hint of romance, as well as upbeat Latin and Be-Bop to tap along to.
